We went with our toddler and 5month baby & just loved how everything was walking distance made our trip more at ease. It was even better than pictures. “ Perfect location. Cozy, modern and not your typical mountain cabin. The grounds were beautiful and the home was comfortable. Higher end finishing and furnishings. We spent more time here than we usually do at an Airbnb as it was an experience in and of itself. Reading in the hammock, playing at the creek with our daughter, having breakfast in the beautiful dining room and enjoying the hot tub were highlights. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms stay really dark with the blinds closed = great sleep. We will definitely be back! ”
“ Beautiful, peaceful property. Living room and main bedroom have A/C which made things very comfortable. Hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day of outdoor activities. Very easy check in/out, and the hosts were very accommodating for our group. Would stay again if in the area. ”

“ Our short stay was everything we hoped for! We wanted to escape the heat for the holiday and enjoy the trees and stars and the cabin was a comfortable and beautiful space to do so! It's located walking distance to town and is on a beautiful property. Strawberry Creek didn't really have moving water but that was to be expected during this time of year, I'm sure near spring time it's much more enjoyable. The kitchen could use more supplies but still had the basics and there are so many great places to eat nearby so it didn't inconvenience our stay. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond/resolve any inquiries/issues. The hot tub was a highlight and the stargazing didn't disappoint! My family and I look forward to returning!! ”

“ My friends and I wanted to have our winter friendsmas get together and Eric’s home was the best cabin for it. Eric was responsive and very helpful. The property has a beautiful backyard that includes a hot tub that overlooks the beautiful lush trees. The beds were comfortable and it being two stories allows the guests to have their own space but also get together to socialize. The property was only a 10 minute walk away from all the town’s attractions. This place is the perfect home for family gatherings and a weekend getaway. I will definitely stay again! ”

“ This is a great cabin for a family or two to stay. The back area that is shareable and utilizable with the stay is breathtaking. If you come when there is snow you will enjoy this to the fullest extent. Pictures do not do the outdoors justice. Also a very easy walk to town. Would love to stay again. Interior is very nice and clean. They do supply an abundance of towels and pillows. Plenty of cookware and dishes as well. ”
“ Our family had a wonderful stay at the Barn! It is a great location to downtown and had a beautiful backyard lit up by edison bulbs on strings and a nice patio for hot drinks. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub during the cold nights! The beds were super, super comfortable! We cooked all 4 nights and the kitchen was stocked with all the necessary tools. We did sled a lot so we could have used a dryer, but just laid the kids snow gear and boots out by the heaters and it worked fine. Love the sliding barn doors! ”
“ Great gateway if you’re looking for a peaceful and quite place. We felt in love with the back yard, big space for the kids to run around in a safe place, no need to go far to take a nice walk, there’s a trail and the main town is within a walking distance. ”

While we love our animal friends, we kindly ask that you leave your furry companions at home during your stay. We strive to provide a serene and comfortable environment for all our guests.

While we aren't an event venue, we do allow guests who buy out all 4 cabins host small get togethers. Whether it's a transformative yoga retreat, or a team-building corporate event, our village can fit your needs. However, weddings, elopements, and receptions are not allowed at Freewyld. Please note that all events must be approved in advance, and all vendors must be identified. An additional event fee may apply, separate from the cabin rental fees.
