“ Our family of 4 really enjoyed staying at the Juniper cabin. We loved the tiny cabin feel and aesthetic touches. The beds were comfortable. The property is large and well kept. The hot tub was easy to use. The walk to town is nice and there are a couple of restaurants nearby. We would definitely recommend. ”

“ Hidden gem if you’ve found availability and are able to book do not hesitate. My wife and daughter and I spent two amazing nights. I woke up at 6am to have my morning coffee and sit in front of the fire place not expecting to catch the sun rising over the mountain and shinning straight into the living room down onto me I had a moment. The whole place is so thoughtfully planed out I appreciate all the time and effort that went into creating this space. 100% recommend great for families and or solo adventures. Close to everything far enough for privacy. The only downside is I couldn’t stay longer. ”

I couldn't believe the price point of this place, for such a low price I had so much privacy, the ability to get into town with ease, and most of all, a calm serenity that just engulfed the entire area. I was able to take a much-needed break from work and relax. Anyone who has been overwhelmed with life's challenges I heavily encourage you to book a stay and enter wyldmode. I'm always super connected to my phone, but disconnecting is super important too. Thank you so much for the stay! ”

“ This is a great house and great location, we loved the private jacuzzi, cozy fireplace, access to Strawberry Creek and a private sledding area, and Tommy’s kitchen within walking distance for amazing brunch. The night we arrived it snowed, it was really cold. It’s worth noting that in cold/snowy weather the fireplace does heat everything if left on, but not nearly as much the main bedroom. I messaged the host who was very friendly and provided a space heater the following day. All in all this is a wonderful place to stay, my kids loved it and we hope to stay again. Thanks! ”
“ Super charming place in our favorite town! We were lucky to have snow during our stay…so the Mill house was perfect! Cozy & quaint. Comfortable beds w white fluffy comforters, fireplace, and a private spa that was heaven after our long hike! The twinkle lights on the patio and outdoor area were perfect ambiance to the chilly nights. The large tall windows with views of the pines gave beautiful natural light in to enjoy coffee and relax to in the morning. Our girls had fun exploring by the creek and sledding out back. Attentive hosts, stocked kitchen for cooking and everything our little family needed for our relaxing ,fun little staycation! Thanks again! ”

“ Our family of 4 had a great time at Eric’s place! The house was super clean, well stocked and in a great location. The backyard was perfect for our kids. They had a blast going down the hill on the sleds, jumping on the benches, playing in the creek and swinging in the hammocks. It was wonderful to come inside from the snow and be able to get right into the hot tub. We can’t wait to visit again! ”

Or challenge yourself to complete the popular 8.1-mile Tahquitz Peak Trail Lookout hike for jaw-dropping views (just be sure to get the $5 Wilderness Permit first.)

While we love our animal friends, we kindly ask that you leave your furry companions at home during your stay. We strive to provide a serene and comfortable environment for all our guests.

While we aren't an event venue, we do allow guests who buy out all 4 cabins host small get togethers. Whether it's a transformative yoga retreat, or a team-building corporate event, our village can fit your needs. However, weddings, elopements, and receptions are not allowed at Freewyld. Please note that all events must be approved in advance, and all vendors must be identified. An additional event fee may apply, separate from the cabin rental fees.
