Who We’re Looking For:


We are seeking a creative video editing powerhouse who can transform raw footage into compelling, high-engagement content that drives results across multiple platforms. An A-Player in this role demonstrates both technical expertise and storytelling abilities, bringing our brand narratives to life while maintaining brand consistency. They understand the importance of platform-specific optimization and can create content that not only looks great but performs exceptionally well.


You will bring the Freewyld ecosystem (Freewyld, Freewyld Foundry, and our CEO’s personal brand) to life through dynamic, shareable video content. This person will help execute our content strategy across multiple channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging while creating engaging videos that resonate with our diverse audiences. Success in this role means growing our brand presence, increasing engagement across platforms, and creating viral-worthy content that serves our community.


This is a long-term position with significant growth opportunities for high performers who want to develop deep video production and social media expertise.





Key Responsibilities:


Short-Form Content Creation (Primary Focus)

  • Create engaging, platform-optimized short-form videos for:
    • Freewyld: Travel & hospitality B2C content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts showcasing our design-forward cabins in Idyllwild, California and upcoming new locations
    • Freewyld Foundry: Educational B2B content primarily for LinkedIn aimed at short-term rental operators generating $1M+ annually
    • Eric Moeller (CEO): Behind-the-scenes content for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok
  • Edit raw footage into compelling 15-60 second videos that align with current platform trends while maintaining brand integrity
  • Implement eye-catching transitions, text overlays, motion graphics, and sound design to maximize engagement
  • Optimize aspect ratios, captions, and formats for specific platforms
  • Collaborate with the content team to execute video content calendars across multiple social media platforms

Long-Form Content Production

  • Edit podcast episodes for YouTube (Get Paid for Your Pad – with 1M+ listeners)
  • Produce educational course content for Freewyld Foundry
  • Create longer-form (~10 minute) YouTube videos for the Freewyld Foundry channel
  • Develop professional training videos offered as lead magnets

Technical & Strategic Responsibilities

  • Manage the post-production workflow, including color correction, audio enhancement, and final delivery
  • Maintain a comprehensive asset library of video content, b-roll, music, and graphics
  • Stay current with evolving social media video trends and implement relevant techniques
  • Analyze performance metrics to continuously improve engagement and reach
  • Ensure consistent visual identity across all three brands
  • Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards



Who We’re Looking For


We are looking for an A-player who is passionate about video editing and social media. The ideal candidate:

  • Has a proven portfolio demonstrating experience creating viral or high-reach short-form content for social media platforms
  • Possesses expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant editing software
  • Shows exceptional storytelling abilities, translating brand messaging into compelling visual narratives
  • Understands the nuances of different social platforms and how to optimize content for each
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and follows through on tasks with minimal supervision
  • Takes initiative and anticipates content needs based on performance data and trends
  • Works efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Communicates effectively with team members and provides constructive input on content strategy
  • Thrives in a high-performance environment and sees challenges as opportunities for growth

Compensation & Benefits: 


  • Salary: $2,000+/month (based on experience and results).
  • Performance-based raises and bonuses for high performers.

  • Remote position with flexible work hours, but must be available during EST business hours.
